How It Works?

Advanced Import

Overview

Advanced import is built on top of the Basic Import, adding Resources and Assignment import. Pre-import, the tool will try to match the existing Dataverse resources with the imported project's team. Post-import, it creates team members and assigns them to imported tasks.

Resources are matched by the following fields in the following order:

• AAD (Entra) ID
• AAD (Entra) Login Name (aka Logon Account)
• Email
• Full Name

When no resource match is found, the team member is not created, and the assignments are not imported as well.
